Hi, my name is Bob Meadows & along with my lovely wife Donna, I own and operate B&D Appliance Repair Service located in Palmdale and Lancaster, California. I have been a licensed & insured Appliance Technician for 29 years now. We offer fast, friendly and reliable service to everyone who calls us here in the Antelope Valley, CA. By working from our home, we are able to keep our overhead down and that means lower prices to our customers for appliance parts and appliance repair service. Quality Service and Customer Satisfaction are our top 2 priorities!!................
If you call, I will be the one answering the phone. The business phone number is forwarded to my cell phone during business hours. This way, I can answer your appliance questions and give you an idea about how much the appliance repair will cost. Many companies won't do this because if they tell you their REAL price, you won't want them. Some companies have a secretary answering & scheduling and can't tell you anything except when a repairman will be going to your home and how much their service call charge is. I've got nothing to hide. I know my prices are honest, fair, and reasonable. If you have a problem with a refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, stove, oven, range, cooktop, washer, freezer, ice maker, or garbage disposer, and you tell me the make and model number of that appliance, and what the symtoms are, I will tell you the possible failures and price estimates. Please realize that I haven't seen your appliance yet and I can't be sure untill I do, but I will give you an idea of what it could be. In other words, You Won't Be Shocked when you find out the price(like you would be with some of the appliance repair companies out there).
You may get my voicemail when you call. It means I'm on a job and I'll call you back as soon as I'm off that job. (usually less than 30 minutes). This is one of the ways I keep my overhead down. Not having to pay a secretary to answer the phone saves money so I'm able to charge less to my customers for an appliance repair. My regular customers know I'll call them back and schedule them quickly. Sometimes new customers(who don't know me yet) go to someone else in the Palmdale & Lancaster phonebook because they don't want to wait, but chances are I can get out there faster and my price WILL be lower. There is also a better chance that I'll have the appliance parts you need "In Stock" which means you'll have a better chance that your appliance will be fixed the first time out. If you happen to need a part that is not commonly stocked, I can usually get it in 1 or 2 days. So, leave your message and phone number (if I don't answer) and wait for me to call you back. You'll be glad you did!

He new exactly what the problem was and it would have only taken minutes, if I didn't wait a month to call in the repair (because of the ice build up took time to melt it). I was afraid it would cost a lot and my last experience with repair service was not good. Bob is very trustworthy and he will be my go to guy forever".

"I called for service because my washer would not spin, right at the end of washing a load of thick towels. I called B & D Appliance because I liked the reviews I read online about the service. I spoke to Bob the owner and he said that it could be the pump and I scheduled an appointment for the next day. Excellent service, Jeff was the repairman's name, pleasant to deal with, found the problem which was 2 rubber hair band things from years ago wrapped around a propeller plus other stuff clogging the pump. He cleaned it all out and was on his way. I was very pleased with the cost too".
